We had a very nice time at the property, although we more spent time away from the location. We travelled up the coast, to the Iron Range and spent some time in Duluth. The location was very convenient for these excursions. When we returned to the property, we found it very comfortable, clean and easy. Joe was very helpful and responsive to questions. We recommend highly.

Exceptionally clean place with a great location. Joe's place is great for viewing the lake and proximity to both Duluth and Two Harbors. Our weekend was in the winter and Joe kept the drive and walkway clear for us. Had the fire ready to go but we were unable to enjoy it as it was quite windy a few nights and then we were too tired from hiking to enjoy it but it would be awesome in the spring, summer and fall listening to the waves of the lake. I was hoping to be able to get to the shoreline but for safety reasons Joe closes it off in the winter and that's understandable as it is a quite a dropoff. Enjoyed a beautiful sunrise on the swing and had an eagle fly over my head. Had a turkey and a rabbit visit also. The place is well equipped with everything we needed, except a hairdryer :)

Super clean. Very quiet. Lots of sun on the lake side (deck, lawn, shoreline) of the property was really welcome. The ability for it to be a base camp for travel to Duluth or Two Harbors for shopping, eating, site seeing, and biking was tremendous.

We stayed in this house in May forc1 week and so when we decided to visit the area again we're delighted to be able to stay here. Really great location and the house is well equipped and very clean. Joe, the host is very friendly and informative about the area.
