  Beautiful Location, But Disappointing Experience The property is in a truly stunning location with breathtaking views, especially from the Great Room. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t match the setting. Upon arrival, we noticed several issues that impacted our stay:There were not enough towels provided for our group.Bedding was left in piles in the closet, which felt disorganized and unwelcoming.General cleanliness was lacking—most notably, a navy bikini bottom was found in the corner of the master bedroom.The kitchen had dirty utensils, and the grill tools were left out and unclean.The stove top didn’t function properly, making cooking difficult.The toilet seat was broken and took three days to be replaced—and even then, it was the wrong size.We also discovered that there were other people staying on the property (a tent, trailer, and small cabin), which was not disclosed in the listing. This made the space feel less private than expected. Communication was another issue. We reached out with questions before the trip and received no response. To be fair, the host did eventually fix the toilet seat, and again, the location is undeniably beautiful. But overall, the lack of cleanliness, poor communication, and unexpected shared occupancy made this stay disappointing.

• Very vintage cabin

  The cabin is in a great location close to Crosslake and all the restaurants. It’s nice being so close to the water as well. The towels and sheets could definitely use a refresh. Also know the only AC is located in bedroom which is not clear in the listing. It was cool while we were there so it wasn’t an issue.
