  We were in Michigan, from Indiana, for a conference. This provided the space and comfort we needed. Plenty of space to move around for 12 people. Had challenges communicating with Evolve but everything worked out fine. I would recommend the house and would stay again.

  Very clean. Very spacious. I recommend u rent the boat. Caught huge bass on the first cast. One of the best weekends we have had in a long time.

• DISHONEST HOST! FILTHY, SMELLY, DISGUSTING HOT TUB!

  First the good: house was clean but smelled horrible upon arrival because of the heavy use of chemical cleaners. The cleaner was left out on the dining room table. The lake was tiny but very nice. The view was very nice.

  IT WAS 65 DEGREES IN THE HOUSE UPON OUR ARRIVAL! When I asked the host why I was told it was to make the house comfortable. 65 DEGREES IS NOT COMFORTABLE. We rented this house because it had a hot tub and kayaks for use.

  THE HOT TUB WAS FILTHY DIRTY AND SMELLED HORRIBLE! TOTALLY UNUSABLE.

  THE KAYAKS WERE FILTHY AND ONE HAD SEVERAL INCHES OF NASTY BLACK, SMELLY WATER IN IT.

  When I mentioned this to the host I was told all were clean. Total lie!

  I was able to clean the kayaks with a hose but wasted an hour doing it.

  When I sent a picture of the nasty hot tub the host replied it was not that way the last time she saw it! How is that possible?

  She completely denied the kayaks were FILTHY despite my assurance that they were.

  On our first full day grasscutters showed up and disrupted our lunch we were having in the yard! The grass was not long enough to need cutting. All the rude guys cutting it only smashed it down with the wheels on the mower

  THERE WAS NO REASON FOR THIS RUDE INTERRUPTION TO OUR MEAL.

  THE GRASS CUTTING COULD HAVE WAITED!

  The entire outside area was dirty,

  with cigarette butts everywhere and old brown leaves all over the area under the deck, covering the dirty kayaks. I cleaned it up myself!

  WHAT IS THE MASSIVE CLEANING FEE FOR?

  Also the drain in the tub for the washer was clogged making it unusable without fear of it overflowing. The sink in one of the bathrooms was also partially clogged but it did drain very slowly.

  There were no trash cans in any of the bedrooms. Why?

  The remotes for the living room and basement were switched and caused time wasted figuring out why they didn't work. All of the TVs need updated. The remote in the bedroom needs new batteries.

  The pics of the yard make it look much larger than it is. DECEPTION!

  The rooms in the house are also much smaller than they appear in the add.DECEPTION!

  This host wants the guests who are paying over $400 a dayto clean before leaving. WHAT IS THE MASSIVE CLEANING CHARGE FOR?

  The pontoon was littered with trash and fishing line. WHY WAS IT DIRTY?

  This could have been a great stay if only everything was clean and ready to use and the host was not very rude and denied anything was dirty.

• Meet new baby

  We came in to Michigan to meet our newest granddaughter. The house was conveniently close to the new family. Plenty of things to do for the older grand kids. Maybe have a few younger games, tic tac toe. Candyland, Chutes and Ladders (for suggestions.) I had grampa bring these from Ohio. Loved having the highchair. Also a few bag chairs for around the fire would be nice. If house sleeps 8-12 you should have seating for that many. Overall the house was perfect. Great location, plenty to do Loved Scarletts playground in Commerce. and Loved the boat. Older kids loved the Kayaks. Perfect place to relax.
