• Quiet and remote location

  The cabin was quiet and remote. It was nice to unplug as we had zero cell service (Verizon) at the cabin or nearby. We enjoyed using the grill and making several campfires and cooking smores. The cons: there was dog hair everywhere on the furniture and rugs downstairs in the cabin (we were covered in hair the entire stay), the beds were not comfortable and only the upstairs was cooled well by a window unit. Downstairs was extremely warm in July and we even ran fans all day. There was an old trailer that was an eye sore in the corner of the backyard and the mosquitoes were terrible because the grass needed mowed. There was no information once we got to the cabin about the 40 acre property to explore, a lake or a hiking trail as described in the listing on EVOLVE. Overall, we felt that the pictures and listing of the property was deceiving for the price $.

  - The listing clearly highlights the remote nature of the cabin, which includes the absence of WiFi and limited cell service. For cell connection, we've found that traveling about four miles east or west from the cabin typically restores the signal.
  - We employ a professional cleaning service that thoroughly sanitizes the cabin between guests. While we make every effort to ensure pet hair is fully removed, there may occasionally be traces missed. We'll continue to prioritize cleanliness to maintain our high standards.
  - We always encourage guests to reach out to their designated guest contact during their stay so any issues can be addressed quickly. Unfortunately, without prior notification, we were unable to resolve your concerns during your visit.
  - The cooling system upstairs benefits from a double-hung window that accommodates an AC unit. While the downstairs awning windows present some challenges, fans are provided to help circulate cool air effectively throughout the cabin.
  - The storage trailer is discreetly positioned behind pine trees, with only the north end visible, while the southern portion is hidden. It currently serves as necessary storage and will be removed once a new storage building is constructed.
  - Our pricing is carefully considered based on the cabin’s location and amenities, remaining competitive given the limited accommodation options in the area.
  
  While your experience didn’t fully meet your expectations, we’re happy to report that the following guests had a positive stay. We are committed to maintaining the high standards that have garnered us numerous positive reviews, and we appreciate the chance to clarify these details for future guests.

  This cabin was very private, and had everything we needed for a great week with family. We were able to hit the atv trails around the area, and enjoyed coming back to the house to relax. Driveway was a little muddy as the weather was very rainy when we first arrived, but we had a truck and it wasn't a problem. Would definitely recommend to others!
