Totally misrepresentation. Homeowner s an active smoker and wanted to schedule a time he could ente
1/5 The smoke smell was so bad we could not stay in the property . The management company refused to refund me. The homeowner wanted to access the property to shower and cook during my stay. He also smokes in the home and it is listed as no smoking in the home.

Hi Laura, the right vacation home is everything, and we're sorry to hear this property didn't meet your expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- We don’t share the home with guests—there’s never been any co-use of the property, and guests have complete control over who enters during their stay. We only come by if a guest asks us to, and even then, only after getting the go-ahead to make sure their privacy is always respected.
- We never asked to enter the home for cooking or showering, and have a separate space across the street with full amenities for our own use.
- We do occasionally smoke a pipe, but never inside or near the home, and the space is always professionally cleaned and taken care of before every arrival.
- We're sorry for any discomfort this caused—we work hard to create a welcoming space for every guest and wish you'd been able to enjoy your stay.
