Brilliant property in awesome area
5/5 An absolutely amazing base for exploring Detroit and the surrounding area, absolutely perfect for a decently sized group (we had 5 adults and an infant in ours). We were in town to visit family in Royal Oak, so this became a perfect location for us.Located in a quiet and charming suburb this house is close enough to major roads that you'll have no problems getting around. Also close enough to plenty of grocery stores and food so that you'll never have a problem eating or drinking.The house itself is nicely appointed and well set up for your stay, and the owner is just an amazingly nice guy who was all too happy to make sure I had plenty of ways to contact him during my stay. We did end up spending a lot of time hanging out on the back deck, grilling and relaxing. The driveway is huge with plenty of room for a number of vehicles. We'll definitely be looking at this place again next time we're in town, particularly if it's a decently sized group again.
