The listing was very misleading. The property was rundown and dirty, with trash and lawn supplies piled up outside. There were cobwebs and bugs everywhere, and the house smelled terrible, especially the old carpeting. The river nearby smelled like septic, so we couldn’t open the windows. Communication with the property manager was poor, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work, leaving us without TV or internet. This place was way overpriced for what we got. I would not recommend staying here.

I recently stayed at this cozy riverside air b & b in Michigan, and I can honestly say it was one of the most memorable experiences I’ve had in a long time. Nestled right next to the river, the views were absolutely stunning—watching the barge boats pass by from the comfort of the house felt like a scene from a movie.
The house itself was incredibly cozy, inviting, and felt like a true home away from home. Whether I was sipping coffee on the porch or relaxing inside after a day of exploring, I felt completely at peace. The atmosphere was the perfect blend of quiet retreat and adventure-ready.
There were so many amazing opportunities to experience—from scenic walks along the water to fun local spots to eat, shop, and explore. Whether you’re into nature, history, or just want a relaxing getaway, this place truly has something for everyone.
I’d highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful stay with tons of charm and adventure just steps away. I can’t wait to come back!
We were a little concerned when we drove up to the house because the front area needed to be tidied up. The inside was clean and provided all of the items we needed for our stay. The wifi information was not readily available and we had troube streaming our services on the TV.The views from the living area were phenomenal and the freighters coming by made it even better. All in all I'm glad we chose this listing!the living

The driveway wasn't plowed wide enough for a snowmobile trailer, and there's no room to turn your car around.
