This property boasts an ideal location right in the heart of downtown Sault Ste Marie! Walk just a few blocks over to visit the local shops, restaurants, and more - like 1668 Winery & Lockside Brewery, the Tower of History, and Soo Theatre Arts.
The Soo Locks are a must-visit while you're in the area. Snag a spot on a Soo Locks sightseeing tour, Luncheon and Dinner Cruise, or Lighthouse Cruise!
Venture over the Sault Ste Marie International Bridge to see the other side of the city, where you'll find the Agawa Canyon Tour Train, Entomica, the Art Gallery of Algoma, the Spirits Rising Monument, and other historical attractions in Canada. However, be sure to have a passport or enhanced driver's license with you before you head across the border.
If you're visiting in the summer season, there's a sand volleyball court in the backyard, or drive 4 miles west to Sherman Park for a day on the beach. Sunbathe on the St Mary's River shoreline, rent a boat to take out on the water, or hop on a local fishing charter!

Girl's weekend
5/5 We planned our girls weekend in the Soo to visit my granddaughter who attends LSSU and to watch my grandson play hockey, and it turned into such a memorable trip. The home we stayed in was clean, comfortable, and relaxing — the perfect place to unwind after a busy day.
We ate most of our meals out and found several great restaurants in the area. Between cheering at the rink, catching up with family, and enjoying the local food, the whole weekend felt special.
The communication with the home manager was excellent. She checked in to make sure everything was going well and that we had everything we needed, which made the stay even better.
A wonderful trip all around — we’d definitely come back!

5/5 If you’re looking for old world charm in the middle of the Soo, this is for you! There is plenty of room for a large family, amenities are perfect for creating a lovely dinner party, and the decor is very comfortable and inviting. The host (Barbara) is very responsive, friendly, and accommodating. It was perfect for our Lake Stare weekend reunion!
