From the owner: "Hello, Thank you for your nice comments. We hope you will find your way back to the Clever Bear Cabin!"
I wanted to love this place but I can’t. We arrived Friday evening and were shocked at how small it really is. I’m 5’10 and my husband is 6’2. We had to duck to get into the kitchen/dining area. The shower is uncomfortably small and the toilet is so close to the wall that you can rest your forehead against the wall. The refrigerator could be unplugged because that’s how warm everything is and it’s on the coldest setting. The house is also dark. Not nearly enough lights though that may be done on purpose to hide all the spider webs. VRBO charges over $200 to clean. I find that interesting because I was knocking down spider web, killing spiders and picking up dead bees, all inside. Someone should double check what you are actually getting for over $200 because cleaning isn’t it. The heating/air wall unit leaks horribly even when off. We were supposed to stay for 3 nights, we didn’t even make it 24 hours. For $1008 I thought there would be a wow factor or something to make $1000 feel better coming out of my account. The house is also right next to several other houses. You can hear everything.
Is the house, shed cute yes. Is it worth what we spent, not at all.
From the owner: "Kelly, thank you for the feedback. We are addressing all of your concerns which we were not aware of during your stay. My best to you in your future travels."
Queen bedroom had 2 foot walkway on ONE side only. Spouse had to crawl over the end of the bed. Toilet had just enough room for knees. Every door way only allowed one person to walk through before the next person could. Watch your head if you're over 5'9 in several spaces. Freezer is not cold enough. BUT, we enjoyed the smores and coffee that was on the house.
Water is waaaay too shallow to enjoy.
