  House was very nice as well as neighborhood.

  Pros:

  - Enjoyed upstairs screened in porch for experiencing the outdoors without the rain or bugs.

  - Nice view of the lake

  - Very spacious interior to lounge

  - Kitchen was stocked well with utensils for easy food prep.

  Cons:

  - No response from our rental property representative when called with a problem we faced during our stay.

  - Driveway / bottom step of property stairs was not level and extremely hazardous - no warning signs posted of this by property owners. While listing does indicate there are stairs required to enter property, the uneven slope at the bottom is something that renters should be made aware of.

  - Only one TV in house and was located on second level. no TVs in any of the bedrooms.(It mostly rained during our stay so more than one TV would have been nice)

  - The stairs from the house to the sloped parking area transition from wood to concrete and the last wood step is level as is the concrete step before the sloped parking area. We're sorry for any difficulty you may have experienced, as you mentioned we do have verbiage in the listing to let guests know about the required stairs.

  This home was beyond perfect for our stay. The view of lake MI was extraordinary from each of the 3 outdoor decks and the view of the woods from the 3 season porch is equally stunning. You can literally feel the love in the thoughtfully curated space and you know the owners want you to have fun and feel welcome. The kitchen has Everything, the beds are clean and comfortable, and the layout is perfect for a multi family or friends stay. It’s seriously the first place we’ve stayed that I didn’t want to leave. I literally felt like crying when it was time to go. Thank you for sharing your home with us. I hope we have an opportunity to return for another stay soon.

  Loved staying at the beach house. Only problem was in listing it explained about how to work the cable because there were 4 remotes. After looking for the silver cable remote for hours, the next day I contacted the owner and found out that they had cancelled the cable. Besides that everything was excellent!

• Perfectly peaceful

  We all enjoyed our stay for a second year in a row at this wonderful beach house. The house is very private, set up high in the trees with a view of the beach, and for us an easy walk up and down the steps and across the quiet street to a beautiful beach. The water was great. Mostly calm and shallow for the first 50 yards or so. Great beach for walking. The neighbors in both directions are very friendly as far as we could walk. We spent a lot of time on the deck overlooking the beach. There’s also an amazing screened porch in back that feels like a luxury tree house. Great place to spend a rainy day. We loved the kitchen which is open to the dining and living area. We cooked every meal and it is really fully equipped. Also really enjoyed the stereo which easily connected to our phones with Bluetooth. You can point the speakers out to the front deck too which was nice. We will be back next year. Big thank you to our hosts for creating and maintaining this amazing space.

  PS: if you like fish/seafood check out Bortell’s, a 10 minute drive up the coast! Everything is sold raw or fried. Delicious!
