  The description of the property online differed from the actual property. The house smelled like dog and had hair on the floors in the kitchen and bathrooms. My family and I had to clean it first in order to be comfortable. We received a 200 refund because of this.

  The location was great! The beach was beautiful! The kitchen had all the equipment we needed, but the beds were terrible. The master bed sloped to the left and was incredibly noisy and there was dog hair throughout the house.

  As for the pet hair, we do not allow pets, and none were present recently, so we will be addressing this concern with our cleaning team. Cleanliness is a top priority, and your comments are helping us improve.

  We had a wonderful stay and particularly enjoyed the view of the lake from the front deck.

  Our kids enjoyed time at the beach, which was just a short walk from the cottage.

  The cottage was well equipped for all of our needs, clean, and inviting. I recommend!

• Wonderful Home and Location

  This property is wonderful! Spacious, relaxing and functional.

  Most importantly it felt like home. There is room for everyone, comfortable beds, and all the dishes needed for cooking and eating meals. Variety of games/puzzles for when the weather is poor and SO CLOSE to the beach when the weather is fantastic.

  Did I forget to mention the views - really stunning! Great for watching for ships and boats or just taking in that fresh blue water.

  Our group had lots of people coming and going, so it was nice to have inside and outside deck gathering areas. Stayed and entire week and glad we did. Got to enjoy the beach, the dunes/State Park, town and exploring around the area. Not too far from Hart, Pentwater, Ludington if want to go shopping, on a fishing charter, or out to dinner.

  Would recommend staying at Praline Woods 100 percent.

• Wonderful vacation home

  We rented this cottage for a week in June 2024. This Lake Michigan home has great spaces for multi-generational relaxation, both indoors and outside, with panoramic views of the lake and beach. It is well equipped, clean and lovely. A private neighborhood beach is a short walk from the house, with fine sand and shallow shoreline which small children can enjoy. A state park with lighthouse is just down the road, and other recreational activities are close by. Our out-of-town extended family had a wonderful visit here. Highly recommend this home, especially for a family vacation.
