  Well stocked and fairly clean but several issues including washing machine would not run past initial adding water cycle, dirty carpet and shower mat, no screens on bedroom windows so no fresh air flow, multiple light bulbs not working, fire pit area and chairs run down and incorrect wifi pw provided. Also, the place is not nearly as new or nice as the pictures present it to be. Host was friendly but the property needs some help.

  We sincerely apologize for the challenges you experienced during your stay and truly appreciate you sharing your feedback. Upon arrival, we were made aware of a light needing replacement and concerns about the carpeting, while the washing machine issue had not yet been reported but has since been addressed. The Wifi password listed on both the chalkboard and in the manual was correct, and an additional sign that caused confusion has been removed. We value when guests bring items to our attention, as it allows us to respond promptly. Even during a busy season, the washer and dryer have been scheduled for service, the outdoor lighting replaced, and the carpeting professionally cleaned. We take great pride in providing a welcoming and comfortable stay, and your input helps us uphold the high standards our guests expect.

  The cabin on thunder Lake is very nice. It’s a well kept and and clean. We had a nice stay . It was relaxing with some fishing and some sightseeing around the area but overall we enjoyed staying at this cabin and they got it’s better than what the picture is showing. They got a regular deck now all around in picnic table up on the deck with Grill and a garage in the Store stuff in so there’s a lot about this place that store really like and I really don’t have anything really negative to say except for thank you very much to the owners.

  This cabin was amazing! The owners had everything in the cabin that you needed! So many special things like fire starters, flavored syrup for your coffee, s’mores box and more! As soon as you walk in the cabin you feel at home! My sister and I loved it so much we had a hard time leaving! We will definitely be back! Thunder Cove will always have a special place in our heart!

  We loved this cozy cabin! The kids really liked sleeping in the loft. I loved the front porch! It would be nice in summer time. It’s a great destination to stay at in the UP, close by kitch-iti-kipi ! Very well stocked kitchen, and plenty of games to play!
