5/5 Greatly enjoyed our stay at the Bunkhouse! Spacious- and the screened in porch brought in a nice breeze.

1/5 This was the worst vacational home I ever stay The 2 out of three bedrooms are very smallThere was no dishwasher Air condition was not there , temp was bit high during our stay , was very uncomfortable to sleep and stay .Couches are very old , dirty and uncomfortable .The house is bit old and it create noise in every furniture door. When you walk that create wired noise . There was very very less game items.The doors have no proper nob, or stoppers

It's crucial to note that the home is accurately advertised without air conditioning or a dishwasher, and the room sizes are clearly depicted in the pictures. The furniture, while new in 2023, is designed in an antique style that complements the 125-year-old character of the home.
-To keep things extra comfortable during this unusually hot year, we've gone ahead and added three box fans. Your comfort is important to us!
-We take pride in our professional and thorough cleaning staff, and the feedback from our other reviews attests to their competence.
-Rest assured, all the games that are advertised are indeed available on-site, and we've even got a few additional ones that are not highlighted.
-Regarding the doorknobs, they are all in place and functional, with one requiring a specific turning direction, which might not be immediately evident.
-We understand that wooden floors can creak, particularly in humid conditions, which we've experienced lately. We are genuinely sorry that your experience fell short of expectations, and we sincerely hope it didn't overshadow your vacation.

4/5 This cabin was close to downtown, sheplers, ferry, and the Mackinac bridge. We enjoyed it, and it was equipped with everything we needed.

4/5 The house was comfortable, convenient, and clean but we did struggle with a few ants in the kitchen. Not an infestation but we saw a few every day. The biggest issue was the loud neighbors who partied till 3 am every night. Since the house had no AC we wanted to open the windows at night but the noise kept us up. A fan for the bedrooms would have been great. With the windows closed we couldn't hear the party. Other than that we had a great time and we appreciated the games, lawn chairs, and amenities provides. We had a great time on the Island and in the city.
If you are looking for a nice, simple place to stay, bring a fan and it will be perfect.
