We were surprised by level of consideration that the hosts showed. They thought of everything. From the big stuff like, kayaks and bikes, to the little things like, nail polish (and remover), cooking spices, and dental flossers, everything you need to make your stay fun and comfortable is waiting for you at the cabin. The hosts were kind, respectful of privacy, and friendly. They took us for an evening boat ride. The lakefront has a small sandy area that's perfect for small kids to play or to put your beach chair in and soak up the sun. You couldn't ask for an easier getaway. The cabin easily sleeps four, though the bedroom isn't completely closed off from the main area. There's enough privacy with the bedroom setup for your typical family vacation though, as it is partitioned off. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at this waterfront cabin. The location is great and the water is very enjoyable, especially that 'no wake' timeframe. The cabin is stocked with everything you could need to compliment your stay. Want to cook? Fully stocked cupboards with spices and all your other cooking supplies. Rainy day? Games, nail polish, and stacks of movies to keep you entertained. A little too chilly for the lake? Basketball and hoop as well as bikes you can take for a spin. The little town is a short walk from the cabin and nearby there is a town famous for having twenty lakes within twenty minutes. The hosts are nearby and very kind. They took us for an evening boat ride one of the nights we stayed and it was especially lovely. There was a bald eagle hanging out near the lake the entire time we were there too. I can't say enough positive things about this spot. The cabin doesn't provide much privacy between guests, but is perfect for a typical family vacation or getaway for two.
Our family had a wonderful time, even with some undesirable weather. There were activities for the kids inside while it rained. They fished for hours when it was a bit too cool to go swimming. And then when it was finally nice out we were able to kayak as a family and take a look a the lake. There was plenty of space off the dock for them to swim, or just wade in the water. The owners were so helpful and sweet. A little birdie (one of the kids) let it slip it was my birthday and I woke up to a happy birthday sign outside the house. It just made things seem that much more special. We already have talked about coming back again in the future.

We absolutely loved staying here! The hosts are very friendly and stay on the property. We had fun kayaking, fishing, biking and playing games during our stay. About 20 minutes by car from the property is a nice Amish shop where you can get freshly baked goods. Ten minutes walking from the property is an ice cream shop we highly recommend. If ever we’re in the area again we will definitely rebook this place. Also, the lake is clean with a sand bottom so you can see in the water instead of most murky lakes in the Midwest ;)
