This property worked perfectly for 7 adults. The home was clean, and very nice. The host was very helpful and had many suggestions for the area. Everyone loved the lake, the kayaks, and especially the hammocks. Easy access to nearby towns, restaurants and grocery. Would stay here again!

This home is beautiful and very well stocked. The large deck was wonderful for family meals and lounging. We rented a pontoon boat and enjoyed being out on the water. The kitchen was so well stocked, and we made many meals in. The location was good for biking, long walks, and trips to other Northern Michigan spots like Old Mission Peninsula, and Leelanau Peninsula. Communication with the owner was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay in this home.

My family of 4 came to Mike's house from California -- we picked up our teenage daughter from Interlochen arts camp (which is just minutes away) and stayed for a week. It was divine! My husband loved the kayaks and took one our every day, my daughter and I loved the stand up paddle boards we rented from Alvina's (per Mike's suggestions - they were wonderful), and my son loved the paddle boat. We had daily fun on the lake as a family and it was beautiful! The house was as clean as any vrbo property I've ever rented, the location on the lake with its own beach on quiet and peaceful Green Lake could not be more perfect, the house was spacious and cozy, the kitchen well stocked, plenty of towels, big tvs for family movie nights, lawn games (we were new to lawn darts but loved them) - I can't really think of a criticism. There's a lot to do nearby - we went to the Northwestern Michigan Fair, did an escape room when it rained - and we kept meaning to head in to traverse city - but we never did because we so enjoyed spending time on the lake, making s'mores, reading in the hammocks, etc. Mike was incredibly easy to communicate with - gave us tons of suggestions and was available for questions, too. If my daughter goes back to Interlochen, we will book Mike's house again without question.

Wonderful house with everything you need, including a well stocked kitchen, nice decks, hammocks, kayaks, dock, and fire pit. Green Lake is beautiful, perfect for kayaking and exploring. Hiking and biking trails close by. The location feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, but everything we wanted/needed was close. Host was easy to work with and gave excellent recommendations. Would definitely stay there again.
