  This lovely Interlochen home was very clean and had everything our family needed for a great vacation. The beach and paddle boat were fun and the owner provided us with dry firewood for fires enjoyed by all. This home is very quiet and close to Traverse City and other towns we visited -- and only 20 minutes to Moomers! We would book this property again!

  Nice home on a small and very quiet lake with a sandy beach for the kids to play. Plenty of beds and a great view of the lake from the house and back porch. When I mentioned to the owner at check in that our kids forgot their fishing poles, he showed up the next day with 3 poles and lures that a another renter had left behind. Owner also let us his firewood, so it saved us time and money for making s'mores! 2 single person kayaks, 1 two person kayak, and a pedal pontoon boat kept the kids busy. Life jackets were adult sized, so bring your own if you have little ones. Decent sized yard for kids to play in. Good proximity to Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes and other places to go. We would definitely stay again!

• Great home, lake and location

  Everything about this home is great. Fantastic beach on a quiet inland lake. Kayaks and paddle boat were very nice. Also a decent fishing lake … we caught 5 nice bass in one hour. Very convenient to Interlochen, Traverse City and Sleeping Bear. Would highly recommend.

  The setting is great quite and peaceful the house has a foul order which made it uncomfortable for adults and worry some for the small children

  "-It has come to our attention that there may be a concern with a rodent within the furnace. Due to unfavorable weather conditions, when the guest likely turned on the heat during the cooler evenings, it may have exacerbated the odor issue.
  -Upon receiving your review, we promptly took action. We scheduled our fall furnace inspection, which includes the heat pump and A/C system. During this inspection, a technician discovered a deceased mouse in the ductwork near the furnace. They took care of the situation by thoroughly cleaning up and deodorizing the furnace.
  -Furthermore, we went the extra mile to ensure a fresh and clean environment. We arranged for Stanley Steamer to clean the entire ductwork system, as well as clean and deodorize the carpets throughout the house. Additionally, we've scheduled regular visits from a pest control company to maintain the enclosed crawl space and protect the exterior of the home, reducing the likelihood of a recurrence.
