Cozy cabin with great location
5/5 We had a great stay in this cozy cabin! Everything was as advertised on the listing and was very clean. We had three people and it was comfortable. 6 would be a bit tight but definitely workable. It was 90 degrees while we were there and the ac kept us plenty cool. We brought our boat and loved the proximity to the boat launch. The driveway is a touch narrow but absolutely doable.
Hosts were polite and good with communication. We will be back in the future!

Family vacation
4/5 Our stay was pretty good. The cabin was cute. However it did need to have updated linens sheets and bedspreads. It was nice to extra blankets. The mattresses seemed to be worn out as well. Even though the couches were slip covered they also were saggy. The only other observation was the appliances were not properly cleaned from previous guests. The cabin was in walking distance to beach area. The outside was kept very tidy. I did appreciate the immediate response from the property manager about items that were broken from previous tennants. I would stay here again.

Exactly what we were looking for
5/5 We selected this place due to its access to Houghton Lake and because it was a great home base to be able to venture out and see various sites in Northern Michigan. It did not disappoint.
The place was spotless with a small stock of snacks/beverages upon arrival. We had some confusion about using the door code to get in and the property manager walked us thru it immediately - very helpful.
Just be aware that if you intend to do a trip that will entail washing clothes, this place does not have a washer/dryer (not an issue for us).
