This remote property is located 9 miles from Reed City and 8 miles from Evart; these small towns are a hub for outdoor recreational activities and boast quaint downtown with charming restaurants and shops.
A 5-minute drive will take you to the Muskegon River where you can try your luck at fishing in this trout, salmon, and steelhead wonderland! Tubing, kayaking, canoeing, and paddle boarding are more active adventures that provide a fun way to experience northwest Michigan.
The Huron-Manistee National Forests are a 30-minute drive from the cabin, where you can explore incredible hiking trails, rare ecological features, and just about every outdoor activity you could dream of.
Winter travelers should check out Caberfae Ski Resort 47 miles from the property. If you have a motorcycle or dirt bike, Evart Motorcycle Trail is a thrilling 22-mile loop you can get to in 15 minutes. Your cabin is also located near state land for hunting, as hunting is not permitted on the actual property. The property was stunning, the facilities were immaculate, and every detail of the cabin was thoughtfully considered by the hosts. We'll definitely be coming back!

5/5 We enjoyed quality family time as well as the trails. The kitchen has all the things you need and more. Beds were very comfortable. Our kids enjoyed the bunk beds and wildlife most of all!

Love This Cabin!
5/5 I can't recommend this place enough! It is literally the perfect cabin to have a retreat at. Also, new table and chairs were added to the upstairs balcony. It always brings me such peace and serenity! You'll love the creek, white pines, trails, deer, birds, etc! When I was leaving this time I ran my bird app, Merlin, and I recorded the following birds in a 10 minute period: black capped-chickadee, blue-headed vireo, blue jay, rub-crowned kinglet, red-breasted nuthatch, brown creeper, robin, canada goose, and the yellow throated vireo. What more could you ask for if you love birds?
