  • Fun Family Retreat

    5/5

While this is an older “vintage” house with some updates, it had plenty of room and was well-stocked with all the necessities and extras both inside and out. The owner was quick to respond when we had an issue and was helpful in other areas as well. We enjoyed the kayaks, fire pit, and the yard games. We were a little farther from South Haven than we wanted, but being at the lake was great and peaceful.

  • Everything was nice except the neighbors.

    4/5

Our small beach had a lot of geese poop. Was not a good place for little ones to play. We let my 2 year old grandson play in the next door neighbor’s sand with his father supervising him. They didn’t like that. It was a downer for our vacay. Other than that everything was nice.

  • Childhood Friends Who Are Now 30+

    5/5

We take an annual trip as a group of friends to a lakehouse, and this location was absolutely superb. We will be returning in future years. The paddle boat and lily pad were big hits. The beds and seating were all comfortable. Great distance to local activities.

  • What a Wonderful Home!

    5/5

We enjoyed the cozyness of the house, the access to the beautiful lake right in the back yard, the kind neighbors, the short drive to Lake Michigan. Communication with the owner was fantastic! The house had kayaks, a canoe, water toys for the kids to play with in the lake, the peddle boat and private dock. We cooked in the kitchen often and it had everything we needed. We grilled out several times and again, had everything we needed. There were plenty of towels and blankets, and I appreciated the access to the laundry room where we did several loads during our stay. The family had fun playing ping pong in the garage and cornhole in the back yard. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and it was fun for us to explore the area. We would certainly come back to this house again. What a wonderful experience!
