  This cabin has a beautiful view of the lake. It also had nice Cookware and that makes it easy for us because we cook in instead of eating out on Vacation. The host was very accommodating and very responsive when we had questions.

• Great Week

  I had a great week at this cabin. The swing in the back room was my favorite place to sit and enjoy the view of the lake and watch the ducks in the mornings. The bed was comfortable and I felt safe there.

  I was able to get my favorite stations on the tv, and I had great phone and internet service on my phone. Everything worked perfectly.

  I really enjoyed all the little towns in the area. I went to a farmers market and the local people were so nice.

  We had a wonderful time staying at this cozy cottage! The setting on the lake is so beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed watching sunsets on the dock. Being steps from the water was so fun. The water out to the end of the dock stays fairly shallow so our young kids had a blast splashing and swimming. We also enjoyed bonfires, kayaks, and some fishing. The cottage was clean and well stocked with kitchen accessories, towels, sheets, blankets, fans, toilet paper, etc. the layout and bedrooms was perfect for our family of four. The view from the sunroom of the lake was our favorite and we spent the most time in that room. Check in and out was a breeze. The location was great for us - about an hour from the destinations we wanted to see (Mackinac Island, Tahquamenon, Munising), but secluded to have the peace and quiet of a retreat. We had no issues and really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend this cottage and stay here again!

• Just what we needed

  The check-in process was a breeze and we ran into zero issues with getting into the house. We arrived after dark as we had stopped to check out Mackinac Island on our way up. The driveway is lined with woods, so driving in you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. It rained a bit while we were there so we weren't able to use the fire pit, but that is ok as we were all exhausted every night anyway. The mosquitoes were pretty bad as were the black flies, but that didn't stop the kids from playing in the water. One kid learned how to kayak using the kayaks provided. It was the perfect time to learn and the water only went up to their waist towards the end of the dock. Being right there on this beautiful lake, which I heard is great for fishing, is just chef's kiss. We did run into an issue with hot water, but we reached out to the property owner and between him and my husband, we got it all straightened out quickly. Smooth sailing after that. The kids learned tiktok dances, taught them to my mom and I, and then performances were had. We also received some special puppet shows put on by the kids. It was the most perfect up north cabin life experience. The neighbors were pleasant as well. On an important note, there are lots of outlets. Sometimes cabins can be light on outlets, but we never ran into an issue that we didn't have an outlet available. If I ever make it back up to the area, I would absolutely stay here again.

• Clean, Secluded, and Stars!

  My wife and I have rented a lot of cabins in the UP and Northern mitten and this was our favorite so far. The cabin is well kept and clean with all the amenities one would need. The wifi connection was great, the water was hot and didn’t smell. There were a lot of mosquitoes, but plenty of candles and repellent, then we were all good. We took a short drive to Tahquamenon and Mackinac wasn’t far either. We love dark skies and star gazing, turned out the lights, headed out on to the dock, and saw the milky way clearly.
