4/5 Love the view! We were visiting family in that area so the location was perfect. The kayaks were a big plus.
The house was comfortable, clean and perfect for what we needed.
Get away
3/5 Lake was very dirty and smelly. The hose was just ok. Kinda run down and had a huge ant problem. The light/ ceiling fan did not work in the bedroom.

We are glad you chose our home and we are sorry your stay was not what you expected. We are disheartened to read your review, we have never had these concerns before. We try our best to provide a great environment for guests, but sometimes external factors like the lake are simply out of our control. When you requested firewood during your stay we were happy to bring a bundle by and leave it at the door, if you did not immediately use the firewood after bringing it in you may also bring ants with the wood as well. We have ongoing pest control that manages and protects the home from these issues. The light and ceiling fan both work, we also include instructions on how to operate.

5/5 Thanks to the host for great accommodations. Check-in and out instructions were clear and to the point. The house has everything you need to enjoy yourself including a blender to make daiquiris, to sit on the dock and watch the river and boats. The house decor was cute and aquatic. If I had to grasp at straws to nit pick, I would've loved curtains at least in the bedrooms to block the early morning sun from waking me up too early. I look forward to returning soon. Gorgeous Clean Cottage
5/5 Absolutely the most relaxing clean cottage on the lake. The property owner Bernice was amazing and thought of everything you could think of on a getaway. 5 out of 5 stars
