Perfect for a quick getaway!
5/5 We loved staying here, especially since we could bring our dogs. The fenced in yard was the perfect spot to hangout at night next to the campfire. The house was very clean and tidy. Had everything we needed and then some! The only con we have about staying here was the fact that the house is on a busy and curvy road, so backing our boat into the driveway was somewhat of a challenge, but we made due.

Nice stay
3/5 This was a nice play to stay, central to Elk Rapids and Traverse City. The house was in a denser neighborhood than we expected, but it was quite quiet. It is on the main road so there is some road noise in the front bedroom. The fire was lovely but the heating system didn't seem to work very well and the bedrooms were rather cold. The one bathroom is rather small. The gated fire pit area looked quite nice, but we weren't able to use it on account of the cold weather.

I wish you would've contacted me while you were there to let me know there was an issue with the heat. I have my contact information at the house and always respond if there is something that needs attention. After receiving this review and finding out there was an issue, we had a furnace repair company come out, and the thermostat needed to be replaced. I hope you will consider rebooking when you can come to enjoy the summer garden and firepit area!"
Cute place, busy street
4/5 The house is lovely. And the yard is very nice. We had a very nice time. Only complaints that it's on a busy street. Be warned that there is no cable and the TV only gets a few channels that freeze up. Other than that, it was a very relaxing two weeks.

Adorable house and great location
5/5 We really enjoyed our stay! Just a half block from Elk Lake! Close to town and Torch Lake. One hour from Sleeping Bear. The house is super adorable and stocked with all of the necessities for a relaxing home base away from home.
