5/5 We had never visited Dowagiac, Michigan before, but we were pleased with the friendly community of Magician Lake! The lake house was sweetly decorated, clean and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed to enjoy a memorable week! Karen was friendly and quick to respond with any questions we had before the trip. She gave excellent recommendations about the area. This location is especially excellent for anybody who has a boat or any kind of aquatic equipment that they can take in the lake. Kayaks were supplied, but they were sit on top kayaks, which we were not completely familiar with. We so appreciated all that the Lake and the house had to offer! Thank you so much for sharing your property with us! I can definitely see us coming back in the future!

You cannot imagine how it makes my heart smile when guests have a great experience at the Sister Lakes area of Dowagiac, MI. I love the peacefulness of the neighborhood and the beauty of Magician Lake. It’s a great fishing, boating and swimming lake with the clear waters it boasts. Next summer, I am planning to add a pedal boat for my guest’s use. Thank you for informing me, too, that you were not aware that the kayaks were sit on top kayaks-I will change the listing to add this in so that future guests are aware.
