  Beautiful lake home. They only had tin beer glasses could have used some glassware. The electric plug in for microwave and toaster oven tripped over and over hard to use the appliances.

  Such a cozy, waterfront cottage. Perfect for a quiet getaway. Updated with modern amenities, activities for rainy days or lake days. Very clean and comfortable.

  - Regarding the dock and boat lift, we apologize for the inconvenience. The dock was not installed because our installer was behind schedule this spring. It is currently not in use and is stored on the side of the yard; we do not believe it blocks the lake view.

  - A partial refund was processed after your stay, although it may not have been received at the time the review was left.

  - The lawn was cut for the first time this season during your visit and is now on a recurring maintenance schedule.

• Beautiful sunsets, water and cottage newly updated BUT...

  Mostly the kitchen floor had water seeping out of the seams all across the of kitchen sink area. It was a slippery mess.

  The owner had to call a plumber for the 6th time. They said they had to pay and we could have fixed it ourselves if we would have moved everything and put a screw in.

  Check in was delayed an hour because they couldnt get the work done on time.

  One of the side docks came out of the water and stood straight up on end, knocking my son of 100 lbs off. Could have been a serious injury with shallow water.

  The lake was very clear with a sandy bottom . The owner would not compensate us at all in any way at all for the inconvenience and incidents. I would check on all this before i rented it.

  Owner's response: "Gloria, We work hard to provide a comfortable place for our guests to stay, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you.
  
  - We contacted you when we realized we were cutting it close to getting everything ready on time, we're sorry for the inconvenience. The person we had doing the cleaning quit at the last minute and my wife had to take care of things herself. She did her best in the time allowed between bookings.
  - We sent you the information about the floor it could have been taken care of by you it was a simple connection that came undone. When you described it as an active leak, that was incorrect. We did get a plumber out as early as we could. This was taken care of by the plumber and my wife left just before you go there and there was no water on the floor.
  - We do not list easy access to the lake for dogs while it would be nice, is not something that needs to be fixed.
  - We don't understand the dock issue. The only thing I can guess is that it came away from the main dock, but the way it is supported would make that unlikely, though it is not out of the realm of possibility. In many years of service, I have not seen the dock behave like that, but it can always be better secured. We are glad no one got hurt.
  
  We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. We will continue to strive for the 5-star experiences we know we can deliver."
