We loved this house so much. And the proximity to the water and downtown. The house itself was clean and comfortable. We will stay again and happily recommend it to other people!

What a beautiful cottage! Well-appointed and the lake views were amazing. I'm looking forward to staying here again.
WOW! We try and come to Charlevoix in early summer every year to see friends who own a shop in town before their season gets crazy. We have stayed in Earl Young properties each time but this cottage is AMAZING! So well stocked and perfect location. Plus just all around lovely. We would highly recommend and will be back. Our only regret was that our schedules didn’t allow a longer stay.

We come to this area multiple times a year for rock hunting, hiking, etc. We have been by this house hundreds of times and when we found out we could actually stay here we jumped on it.
This was a weekend for the peak of the Eta Aquariids meteor shower and our normal outings. Had awsome sunset and 1 night of clear skys. Walked across the street and did some rock hunting. Grandson tested the water and he also had a blast even shivering!
No reservations about recommending or renting this place in the future.
ps. dont forget to drive the neighborhood ..

Lovely Earl Young Stone Cottage. Beautiful. Comfortable. Historic. No complaints. Would be perfect for small family or two couples. We loved the gas fireplace and wonderful Lake Michigan views. Every evening at dusk we would watch a large family of deer and a big fat raccoon wander down to the lake looking for dinner. It was great fun. My teen son and I were visiting in the off season so it was a quiet time in the region, but this is in a wonderful quiet location about a mile from downtown shops and restaurants and a 20 minute drive from Petoskey. Before we even left, we were already talking about coming back!
