1/5 After choosing this property for its full kitchen, we were notified 1 day prior to arrival that the refrigerator was not cooling and a repair could not be scheduled until after our 4-day stay. Needless to say, this was LESS than ideal for a 4-day stay for 4 adults who planned to cook most of our meals there. In addition, the fire alarm went off each time the oven was used, making it difficult to cook comfortably. The lights would noticeably dim whenever we used the microwave or hairdryer, suggesting electrical issues. The cookware provided was very worn, with scratched Teflon surfaces, which raised concerns about food safety.

We’re sorry to hear parts of your stay didn’t meet expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
-The fridge issue was unexpected and unfortunately couldn’t be repaired before your arrival due to limited service availability in the area. The homeowner reached out in advance and offered to supply ice as a temporary solution, and also provided a partial refund for the inconvenience.
-The smoke alarm is quite sensitive given the size of the space, but we’re looking into possible adjustments to help make cooking more comfortable.
-We’re reviewing the cookware and will remove or replace any items that are no longer in good condition.
-The dimming lights were not previously reported, but we appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will have it checked out by a licensed electrician.
