• Relaxing and perfect place to stay

  We absolutely loved our stay at this home. It was a perfect getaway being right by the water. The home also has a great view of the water from all the windows in the front of the house. The home was clean and comfortable. Holly was great with communicating with us to answer any questions when needed.

• No Basics

  Cleaning lady was still cleaning, we deposited our food in the frig then left. When we came back the place was very clean, but one roll of TP and no K cups for the kerig. Bought TP, and was glad I brought K cups. No enough towels and left no dishwasher pods. Only had one in the dishwasher for one load, we stayed 3 days two nights. They need to tell people to bring all supplies. Felt they went cheep on the wrong items.

  Hi Joan, the homeowners were surprised to read your review, as they're accustomed to providing excellent guest experiences, and would like to clarify the following:
  - Our check-in time is at 3:00 PM, and while you arrived early at 1:30 PM, the cleaning team allowed you to drop off your things before they finished preparing the home which was guest-ready by the advertised check-in time.
  - We provide a starter supply of essentials, including a limited amount of toilet paper, dishwasher pods, and other basics. Once the starter supplies are used up, guests typically purchase any additional items needed for their stay. This is standard practice for the short-term rental industry.
  - The home is stocked with enough towels for up to ten people. Since there are two bathrooms in the house, some towels may have been placed in one bathroom or the other.
  - We want to clarify that K-cups for the Keurig are not included in our amenities, and this is not advertised in the listing. We encourage all guests to thoroughly review the listing details before booking to ensure the property aligns with their preferences.
  We do all we can to provide a wonderful stay, and we look forward to hosting many satisfied guests.

• Gathering spot

  This was one of three places we booked, this was the smaller of the three. Be sure to make a request for the AC to be active prior to arrival. The first few days were fine but it got unbearably hot. The deck was a nice place to relax though. Bring your own soap/shampoo/keurig pods. The store is not far though. Michigan speedway was close too. There’s no watercraft, need to plan the rental a few days in advance.

This is our first summer as owners and we had no idea the breaker outside was turned off, but we were there the weekend after you left and spent time investigating and found the breaker on the outside of the unit was off. If you stay again next summer the a/c will be working! Sorry again!"
