5/5 We stayed at this very unique lakefront home on Torch Lake and absolutely loved it! The house itself has so much character and charm, and the location is unbeatable—right on the water with a perfect sandy beach. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side this trip—it was cold and extremely windy—so we didn’t get to enjoy the beach as much as we’d hoped. That said, we can only imagine how incredible it would be during the prime summer months, and we can’t wait to come back then to experience it fully. Highly recommend this rental for anyone looking for a special spot on Torch Lake!

5/5 What a special place!! Torch Lake is absolutely amazing -- crystal clear water, sandy, calm -- and this is just a perfect lake house! Totally clean and tidy without being sterile and boring (like so many rental places these days). It's a beautiful old house with charm and character, as well as some thoughtful updates, good bathrooms, kitchen with full sets of dishes, cooking essentials, etc. The beds were comfy, with plenty of extra pillows and blankets. The living room was great for cozy hangouts, and the porch facing the lake is an unbelievably lovely spot to sit with your morning coffee, or watch the sunset with a glass of wine. Mike, the host, was responsive, friendly, and helpful. We're already planning our return next summer!

3/5 Older than we though, and really it was the weather, cold and windy, nothing anyone can do about the weather though. Just bad timing for us. Who knew August would be cold.
