2/5 The outside area was unkept. The neighborhood location was terrible. Though it was obvious the interior had been updated, the furniture was old and worn. This is definitely not worth the price paid

Quaint cabin!
5/5 Quaint cabin not too far from downtown Alanson. Quick drive to Petosky (20 minutes) & Pellston with a 30 minute drive to Mackinaw City. Cabin is exactly as pictured with enough amenities in the kitchen to cook a full meal.

4/5 Inside was very nice ,but out side wasn't as neat. Property needed the lawn mowed and some other manicuring. The dog kennel was not a very pretty sight either.

Retreat in northern Michigan
4/5 Check in was flawless and the property was as described in the listing. The house was very clean, furnishings and decor were quite nice, and the "welcome" bottle of wine provided by the host was appreciated after a long day's drive. Relatively new appliances (washer/dryer, dishwasher, gas range, and refrigerator) added to the convenience. The outdoor kennel runs are great for those of us that travel with our dogs. All in all, this was close to perfect for our party of four (two couples). Plus, Alanson is a great base from which to explore the Petoskey, Charlevoix and Mackinaw City areas.
