This is truly a hidden gem on the east coast, with plenty to see and do all just a walk away! Walk 50 steps to Long Sands Beach Park, where you can try out surfing in the designated quarter-mile area, or swim and sunbathe on the no surf side. For even more fun on the shore, Short Sands Beach is just a 3-minute walk further!
If you're not up for the walk, hop on the Beach Trolley to access all of York effortlessly!
Once you’ve had fun on the beach, indulge in a beachfront dinner at Lobster Cove, Cliff House, or Stones Throw - found right around the corner from the house!
While you're in the area, be sure to visit the historic Nubble Lighthouse, Animal Forest Park Sanctuary, and York's Wild Kingdom - a zoo and amusement park!

Not As Nice as Looked
2/5 I was not able to find the property so called the manager. Evolve is still giving the wrong contact person so had to leave a message. Finally found the property tucked behind another house. Garbage in the bathroom. Paper in the toilet. Even as the week got colder, no offer of turning on the heat from the owner who lived right in front of the property. Electric turned off three times in one day due to work being done in next unit. No warning. Owner sent a text that he didn't expect someone so late in the season. While then, why didn't he just say no. TV reception horrible.
Great beach. Wonderful grocery store two doors down with excellent food. Otherwise, would have left early. Felt like an intrusion, especially after the electric going off and no offer of heat.

-From us here at Evolve, we sincerely apologize for our error regarding the Guest Contact information. The homeowner promptly asked us to update the information, however, we failed to do so before your stay. This does not reflect the owner or property and Evolve takes full responsibility. We have since updated the pre-stay email so future guests do not share the same experience. We'd also like to clarify, that the additional confirmation email received during your stay was sent after the guest's contact information was updated
-There is a listing within the home with the information needed regarding guests' stay (including when the garbage should be taken out) right next to the refrigerator. Garbage day is Tuesday and you reached out on Wednesday asking when the trash should be put out. We informed you we would take care of it
