Perfectly Located, Affordable Cottage Near Maine’s Best Beaches and Attractions
5/5 We chose this cottage for its affordable price and convenient location near the beach and other attractions in Maine. Footbridge Beach turned out to be our favorite, just a short distance away with the added bonus of restroom facilities. Surprisingly, even though the cottage is in Wells, getting to Wells Beach takes longer and involves more traffic during peak times.
The cottage is perfectly situated near Ogunquit and offers easy drives to popular destinations like Old Orchard Beach and Portland. It comfortably accommodated two adults and two teenagers, and it was well-stocked with all the essentials. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.
The gated community where the cottage is located is an added plus, featuring a nice pool area with a large in-ground hot tub, a game room, and a well-equipped workout facility. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend this property. We’d gladly return for another stay.
