2/5 I really wanted to like this place. We have family in the area and are looking for a decent place to stay on occasion. This was not it. Some attention to details would make a difference. It was not clean. Mouse droppings in several places - floor, window sills, carpet in the sun room. Ragged/frayed towels. Nothing but shampoo in the bathroom. Could not find the hair dryer as listed on the amenities. Dirty pillows. Smelly, broken trash receptacles, inside and outside. Nails sticking up from the floor. Window screens with holes in several places. Not acceptable for children and crawling infant. WAY too expensive for what we got. It is unclear to me what the very high cleaning fee was because this place is not clean. Disappointing. I did not think to take photos. This the first substandard experience I’ve had. I’m not trying to be mean but hoping this feedback will help the owner make the property better; one people would want to return to.

We trusted our cleaning company to prepare the home to the highest standard and were disappointed when we recently visited and saw many of the same issues you described. We immediately deep-cleaned the property, removed worn items, and brought in an exterminator to resolve the chipmunk problem. Please know this is not the experience we want for our guests, and I truly regret that your stay was affected. Thank you for bringing this to our attention; it helped us make the improvements that are now in place."
