Better be prepared
3/5 My husband and I stayed 3 nights because of Bowdoin College family weekend. The plus: the cabin is very close to Bowdoin, could walk to the swinging bridge, stunning river with some wild life (riverfront cabin). The minus: pellet stove did not work, internet did not work, heating system very loud (ended up sleeping in our sleeping bags), dirty coffee cups & silverware (cleaned the few things we used both before and after). Netflix worked one night out of three.

Not What I had hoped for.9

-The guest conveyed to the property manager that they felt the property was "too rural." Additionally, the property manager noted that the guests mentioned the photos did not accurately depict the natural landscape. We encourage all our guests to thoroughly review all the details in the listing to ensure their expectations are met. It's important to us that our guests have a clear understanding of the property before booking.
-Also, it's important to note that the property is situated on a dirt drive with a packed dirt parking area. The walkway to the house is stable, and the natural landscape surrounding the property may have uneven ground.
