Home was beautiful and clean. Had everything we needed for our stay. Communication was fantastic. I was a bit worried about the lack of a/c but this was not a problem, as 2 fans were available. The listing was very upfront about the noise from the working docks, however, we barely heard anything even with the open windows. I would recommend this rental!

Great upper apartment with amazing views of the harbor. Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property. As a suggestion, this is the first VRBO that we've stayed in (and we've stayed in several) that didn't provide small samples of shampoo, conditioner, and bar soap for the shower. That would have been convenient as we had to purchase those items at the local store. All in all, good experience.

This apartment was perfect for our weekend getaway in Southwest Harbor. When we arrived, we were instantly in love with the view. The living area looked right over the water. The whole place was filled with fresh air and natural light.
The apartment is impeccably clean, and the kitchen has everything someone would need to cook meals.
The owner is local and very responsive.
The description mentioned noise from the harbor; this didn't bother us one bit. We barely noticed it. The restaurant next door was busy, and we could hear them, but it didn't last late into the night. Besides, we enjoyed the live music while sitting on the back deck.
We only wish that we could've stayed longer!
