Sunrises!
5/5 The house is lovely, great location and situation. The shore just below the house is rocky and charming, but requires caution descending to it (in the winter anyway). Sunrise over the south end of Monroe Island is just gorgeous. Views from every room. The kitchen is great, and the most generously supplied with cookware and dishes that I've ever seen in a rental. Super.

Peaceful retreat
5/5 This Owls Head home was very comfortable with a beautiful view of the bay. It was also conveniently located to other central coast towns, but secluded enough to be completely peaceful. I would highly recommend it for your stay!

Quick November Getaway

Fabulous view.
Would be a GREAT set up for a family with kids, as there is a basement level with bunk beds, a queen or full size bed, a full size bathroom, and a foosball table / game room! Really cool! For us adults, we stayed on the Main floor the entire time. Lots and lots of windows that can be opened to let fresh air through (but permit great views across the water to faraway islands!).
Special shout out to the owner and caretaker. I accidentally booked wrong dates (my goof) and they were both very helpful to me when I needed to make last-minute, late afternoon modifications. I really appreciated their coordinated effort!
Would definitely stay here again.
Good proximity (ie, less than 30 min drive) to other communities for exploring.
