At first I was nervous because the cottage is on a main road. However, when you pull in, it is a wonderfully hidden away with a glorious view of the ocean! The cottage is cozy and comfortable, it is slightly dated but it is clean. But the porch and the sweet, well manicured yard is what makes this home stand out! There is a stairway down to the rocks and when the tide is out you can walk along the rocks to a sandbar and walk out to a small island. However, if you were looking for a place to relax and enjoy your family, it is fantastic! The weather wasn't perfect while we were there, but we took a quick trip to Beales Island and found some nice hiking trails. We brought our dog and the yard is fenced in which made us feel very safe. There were plenty of puzzles and games for the foggy rainy day. We would definitely return to this cottage!

This place was amazing. If you are looking for a quintessential Maine vacation, off the beaten path, with great views, this is the place for you. It is located on a small cliff overlooking the bay. Direct access to the water. We kayaked and fished which was fun. You can walk out to an island right in front of the place during low tide. Jonesport is a small town, mainly focussed on lobstering and fishing. Beautiful views, fresh lobster roles around. There is also a sandy beach about 0.5 miles away which is free and worth relaxing on. The owners of the place were super hospitable and helpful. Highly highly recommend. 5 stars.

Extremely clean and well cared for home!!! comfortable beds, clean and abundant linens and towels, well stocked kitchen, tv and WiFi worked perfectly, easy parking, beautiful deck and views cannot be beat!
We’ve been renting in the Jonesport area for years and this is the all around greatest place we have stayed!
My sister and stayed up here for a few days with my dog and it was great. They had everything we needed to enjoy our time, the beds were super comfortable and the views were fantastic! We enjoyed watching the lobster boats in the early morning, watching the seal come hangout on the rocks once they left, and going off to see some of the lighthouses. We would definitely stay again! Thank you for sharing your lovely house with us!
