Island Falls cabin
4/5 If you want piece and quiet this is the place for you. The lake is fairly large with hardly any boaters. The week we were there, we heard a human voice only once for a few minutes and the rest of the time there was complete silence. The fishing was good and very convenient. Joe, the owner, was very responsive when needed. The Solar system and generator was new to us and took a little bit to understand and get used to. It is off-grid but there is WiFi and a TV. You do need a 4-wheeler or all-wheel drive to get to the camp.
We wanted seclusion and piece and there was plenty of that with staying here. We would definitely go back for another stay.
Relaxing & secluded retreat in lakefront cabin
5/5 You can spend the day canoeing on the lake or off-roading with you ATV or Jeep on the surrounding trails. Nights under the stars by the camp fire listening to nature sounds. I wanted a relaxing trip off the beaten path and this place delivered. The cabin had everything needed for my stay, right down to the boat shoes and bug spray. Host did a great job setting the place up for a truly authentic and memorable experience.
