We booked 3 nights. Owner was friendly, let us check in earlier than 4pm, we were checking out of a house on Toddy pond. It was easy to find & looks cute from the street. It is VERY overpriced for what it is though. Evolve added damage protection which we never take, but we paid almost $480 a night for this house when we only paid $400 for a house 5x bigger & completely fully stocked on Toddy pond.
Branch lake is clear & clean, we took the canoe out for a nice paddle one morning. We like to firepit & ad said wood is provided so we didn't bring any. There was only 2 small pieces so we texted John & he brought a wagon of wood from next door, he lives next door. We bought some wood later too. The futon is the only seating available & very uncomfortable as a couch, so we pulled it out to lay on for watching tv since it's placed very high anyway. There's a few bathroom amenities & basic kitchen things, John put berries & water in the fridge. It's a cute place for 3 days but not longer because it's very small. When we pay so much money for an entire property, we expect to have it to ourselves. We came home late one night and there was a car parked in the driveway and the next day a boat was parked across our dock, friends of the owners. He quickly moved the boat when he saw us there, but owners need to know it's not ok or fair to use the property when it's rented out. There was a pile of dog poop by the outside chairs too which hadn't been there before.

This property was a perfect getaway for the family. A beautiful location, not far from amenities.

Great little camp on beautiful Branch Lake. Clean and cozy with full bath, laundry and kitchen. Very quiet with beautiful views across the lake. Close to Rte. 1A. Sleeping loft with queen bed is too low to stand up in, so it may be tough for some people to access.

We had the most wonderful family vacation in this chalet! Beautiful view of the lake and everything provided that we could possibly need. Outside of Bar Harbor in a town with many amenities. Cannot say enough how special it was staying in this cozy and charming abode. Can’t wait to come back!
