Our stay at the Crow's Nest on Deer Isle was wonderful. The owners are super, and the pictures of the unit are exactly what is portrayed.
Every morning getting up to a wonderful view of the water was so relaxing. Great restaurants around the area and Bar Harbor is not that far away.
Highly recommend for a relaxing vacation.
We were very pleased with everything about this stay. We especially like the close proximity to the water and the quietness of the community

We loved staying at The Crow's Nest. My husband and I, our eldest child, and his partner enjoyed the comfortable and well-appointed apartment and the impressive array of amenities in the well-stocked kitchen. The bedrooms were comfortable, with wonderful beds and pillows, and plenty of storage for your belongings. The apartment includes free parking, is close to shopping, and is close to my spouse's sister who lives on the Island, making it ideal for our family gettogether.Watching the water and tides roll in and out from the private patio was a treat. The owners were excellent at communication. They were away during our stay but had a caretaker available for anything we might need. Our visit was primarily for a family visit but we loved hiking on the Island, shopping in Stonington, and the Puffin Tour to see the bird sanctuary, seals, dolphins, and of course, multiple Puffins and other seabirds. Be sure to visit Nervous Nelli's Jams and Jellies, giving yourself an hour or more to spend. This is not only a lovely gift shop with many unique gifts, but an outdoor artfest with unusual sculptures each with a story to tell. We also liked Yellow Birch Farms for fresh produce and The Dry Dock in Stonington for gifts. As we visited on July 4th week, we got to see the small town, big-hearted parade. What fun!Highly recommend.

Our stay at the Crow's Nest was wonderful. It was so quiet and peaceful with breathtaking views. Deb has done a wonderful job of making this property a warm and welcoming home away from home. We loved exploring all the nearby shops and restaurants that were suggested. We highly recommended this property and would definitely stay again.

We made last-minute plans to visit our family on Deer Isle. We were grateful to find The Crow's Nest, a modern, beautifully appointed, and fully stocked apartment. The dwelling is separate but attached to the main house where the owners live. They were away while we were there but a caretaker was present and available for anything we might need. A breezeway dining space sits between the two dwellings for gatherings if you wish.
The kitchen is stocked with everything you could want: A coffee machine, bean grinder, blender, Wok, lobster pot, and so much more in a modern kitchen. The living room and dining area are comfy and beautifully decorated. Both bedrooms feature comfy beds, oversized pillows, and warm blankets. There's lots of space for unpacking and storing your clothing.
The best is the private deck overlooking a beautiful spot of water and trees. Below is a fire pit and grill for your use.
Our hosts were great communicators and gave us directions and suggestions for shopping and dining. Parking was a breeze.
We are a mom, a dad, and our young adult son and his partner. We loved our stay. Thank you!
Would highly recommend The Crow's Nest.
From the owner: "Thank you Karen for your glowing review. You did a great job describing our property. I'm so glad you had a pleasant visit and hope you will come stay with us again sometime."
