Easily get your powder days in at Sunday River Resort, located just 3 miles north of the vacation rental! This ski destination, with 870 acres of developed trails and glades, is known for its family-oriented atmosphere, which includes an excellent children's program. When you've exhausted Sunday River's runs, switch your ski venue to Mt. Abram Family Resort, found just 10 miles south.
Not a skier? Don't worry! The area is home to plenty of other activities. Grafton Notch State Park, 13 miles north, provides access to hiking, hunting, and fishing, all located in incredible scenery, with gorges and peaks. One peak in particular—Old Speck—boasts an elevation of 4,180 feet, which provides a rewarding vista that overlooks the Mahoosuc Public Lands.
On rest days, sip cold brews at Sunday River Brewing Company, located just down the road, shop on Bethel's Main Street, or feast on wood-fired pizza at Matterhorn Ski Bar! Steam Mill Brewing is under a half-mile away, boasting local brews and live music for a fun local hang!

Really nice ski house, very close to Sunday River
5/5 We stayed here for a long weekend with two families of four. There was plenty of room for everyone and the house was well stocked with the basics (and more). We enjoyed the hot tub after some long days on the slopes. This place is in a great location, close to Sunday River and some great restaurants Hope to visit again next season.
