5/5 It just doesn't get much better than this! This grand old house was fabulous for our large group of friends. The location is ideal; a short walk to the shops and restaurants of Bar Harbor and an eight-minute drive to Acadia NP. Where it really shines, though, is the many thoughtful accommodations for its guests. The kitchen is the best equipped rental we've ever seen. For our group of cooks, it had everything you'd ever need for preparing great meals. Plenty of room to spread out and hang out with friends. And lots of little extras: like a well-stocked library, board games, toys for kids, puzzles - even a blueberry pie awaiting us upon our arrival. The bedrooms are comfortable and nicely furnished as well as the bathrooms. We loved our stay and would definitely come again!
