    Booked this house for 18. When we got there parts of the house were padlocked and had no access. Which left us with people having to sleep on the floor. Probably should get some type of refund. Other than that this place was very nice. Enjoyed almost everything. Could use some updates in the bathrooms and some of the doors in the house but I would definitely book again

    Hi Robert, we take guest feedback seriously, and after following up with the homeowner, they wanted to clarify the following:
    - The locked areas include one closet and an attic, which are used for storage and not available for guest use. This is a common practice in short-term rentals for storing personal items and supplies.
    - There are six bedrooms, and the listing clearly outlines the sleeping arrangements. The maximum occupancy is 15, as noted in the listing details before booking.
    - The listing photos accurately reflect the current bathrooms and doors, but we’re also in the process of renovating the bathroom fixtures and doors.
    - The homeowner works hard to provide an ideal guest experience and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied visitors.

    The carpet was filthy and needs to be replaced. The house has a mice and ant problem. All of the living room and dining room furniture was out dated and needs to be replaced. The property manager was attentive and they immediately replaced a broke box spring for one of the beds and bought in mouse trips. The front porch was nice but can use better furniture.

    - We acknowledge that the carpet has seen better days and agree that it needs replacement, a step we'll be taking in the upcoming weeks. The existing stains were the result of previous guests, but it had been cleaned. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused during your visit.
    - Dealing with ants can be challenging, especially in a beachside location. We are actively working with a pest control company to address this issue. As for the mouse concern, it's not something we've heard before, but we'll work with the pest control company to investigate and address this matter as well.
    - We apologize if the furniture did not suit your preferences. It is not outdated, and we ensure the listing reflects that accurately. While it may not be outdated, we recognize that improvements can be made, and we have plans to enhance it in the coming months.
    - We apologize for the oversight with the broken box spring. Our cleaning crew didn't catch it while making the beds, but we acted promptly to replace it as soon as you brought it to our attention.
