  Lovely layout. We were 4 vacationers and the 4 bedrooms were ideal. However, the lack of tv service in 2 of the rooms was a huge problem. We promptly telephoned the listed contact and were told that the issue would be resolved. After waiting patiently to no avail, we feel as if we were taken advantage of. Furthermore, we should be compensated. Additionally, the necessity of scaling 2 flights of stairs to adjust fuses simply because a light or fan switch has been used is ridiculous. Truly, the additional trips up and down the stairs are challenging for seniors. The ball was truly dropped when no one came in to attempt to rectify the tv situation and our contact stated that someone had been there even though we had been there waiting all day. Unkept promises and apologies are unacceptable here because a statement was made suggesting that the cable company had needed to install something outside. This suggests that there were known problems before we rented and we could have been made aware of them prior to our rental . In fact, had someone come out to try to resolve the issues, an additional remote may have taken care of 1 of them. I would be very hesitant to recommend this company to rent from as we have not been in anyway compensated from our inconvenience despite our patience.

  From the Owner: We appreciate that you enjoyed the layout, but were very disappointed in your review. We did everything we could to rectify the issues while you were in our home, and we did not take advantage of you.
  
  We went over and resolved the issue with the switch on the breaker within 15 minutes, and you never told us it was an issue after that. When you told us about the remote, you said that you could use the living room remote, and you never brought this up again.
  
  Regarding the TVs, the only issues were with the basement TV and one of the bedrooms; the cable was working in all of the other rooms with TVs in 3 bedrooms and the living room.
  
  You gave us permission to enter the unit while you were gone, and we had the cable company there. You did not need to wait all day. We sent you instructions on how to reconnect and offered to connect you to tech support, which you declined. We contacted them that evening with no luck, and then called the following morning and put in a work order with the local company. They advised we were on the list but made no guarantee they would be out the same day. After about 10 calls to the local company, we were told a Comcast technician would need to come out.
  
  I agree this was an inconvenience, but we feel this was over-exaggerated in your review. We went above and beyond and provided you with everything you needed for a good stay, except for the issues with the cable, which were out of our control.
  
  We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!
