Our vacation on Chesapeake Bay was wonderful. The house was clean and comfortable. It is an older home, but we loved the character and charm. There is a very large yard for playing, bikes and some board games/puzzles that we enjoyed. The island was very quiet so made for a relaxing vacation. The home came with kayaks, and we had a blast kayaking with our 2 and 4 year old on the ocean. I would highly recommend this home for a big gathering or small family like our trip. We felt so rested after our stay. The home is in a very quiet town. The closest store or restaurant is about 20 minutes away so grab your groceries before driving in. We did a Walmart pick up order in Cambridge so we ordered ahead, they brought to the car, and we were off again. There was a full kitchen and outdoor grill so we cooked some delicious meals. Oh, and don’t forget bug spray for outside play since the home is on the bay.

Nice location on the river and close to the bay. Good do cravings and fishing.

We enjoyed our stay!
Property itself was good, new kitchen which was great and central AC a plus, and getting info about it before we checked in was super easy. The house was clean when we got there. However, the internet was reallllly slow. It was impossible for my husband to work at all from there because of it. And, while not the property's fault, we went in August and the mosquitoes and jelly fish were rampant! Overall, though we had a great time and were glad to get away.

We stayed at this house on the Eastern Shore of MD for 10 days to celebrate our kids birthdays. What a wonderful gem. The house is fairly basic but full of charm. The yard and the view is incredible. Everyone on the island is extremely friendly and the kids had a blast kayaking and crabbing. The host, Mark, was extremely responsive. When the AC was down on a Friday evening, Mark had the technician come out to fix the issues right away. We are very grateful for such a wonder find, book your trip and go and see this beautiful little island, you won't regret it.
