• Great bayfront house

  This was a perfect place to stay, a bit far from our daily destination of Assateague but worth the drive for a place to unload and I unwind and relax without worrying about disturbing anyone, and with enough space for the whole family. We took advantage of the dock for crabbing and watching the sunset. Easy to get to, well stocked, easy to use and take care of, we would definitely stay here again.

• Get Away from It All!

  Four of my older women friends and I just returned from 4 wonderful days at this spacious one level home situated on the Chesapeake Bay across from Deal Island in Chance, Maryland. This well maintained and fully air conditioned house had two full baths, three bedrooms, a TV nook, and a spacious living room, and the last two rooms had comfy sofas large enough for sleeping. All bedding was spotless and extra blankets were readily available. Rooms also had ceiling fans which are one of my favorite amenities. Although there was a lovely and inviting dining room, we chose to eat either outside or around the large table in the living room.

  The best part of our stay was definitely our location which was literally only a few feet from the water and a sturdy dock. The lapping of the waves definitely soothed spirits and made the place a truly relaxing escape. This was a perfect setting for catching up with friends and reading.

  Jerry, the owner went above and beyond to provide support and rapid responses to our questions, and folks in the neighborhood readily assisted us when one of our cars refused to start. What a relief and special gift that was! Thank you, All. We look forward to returning in the future.

  PS Do plan to take a drive over to the town of Princess Anne for a good meal and a chance to see a lovely historic community!

  Also, do plan to bring your foodstuffs and-or to stop in Princess Anne at the Food Lion or Dollar City for your provisions as no shops are in walking distance of the house.

• September getaway

  The house was wonderful. Very comfortable. Kitchen well appointed with everything we needed. Location on the water ideal for crabbing, fishing, or just relaxing. (Make sure to have needed supplies since stores etc are not nearby but that seems to be the way with any waterfront property). We had our first experience with “costal flooding” which made it a bit more interesting. Neighbors were very nice. Would highly recommend staying at this property.
