  On arrival the hostess showered us with baskets of items to make our stay easier. They included toothbrushes, soaps, coffee, and snacks. Truly, a generous amount which gave us huge smiles as we felt we were now in the penthouse suite. Then we discovered the candles, lighters, tiki bar, hot tub, well lit exterior, the security cameras, and the cute decor. What a spectacularly special location. Thank you for a great trip. Highly recommend.

• Worst Host and Property Ever

  The photos looked gorgeous and ratings were great, so we were very excited for our stay!

  It looked nice at first glance. The decor is really cute and it was recently redone. The problems arose when we started to get settled. One of the bedrooms had a weird smell to it, so we had to sleep in the other room. We pulled the covers back and there was hair ALL over the yellow stained sheets, as if they hadn't been washed since last guest. We found a closet with more sheets so we got one and put it on top of the dirty sheets, and the new one was dirty too! There is a washer and dryer, but the problem is there is no laundry detergent, so we were going to go buy detergent and do laundry while we were on vacation because we don't like to complain. The water is untreated and very smelly.

  That's not the worst part! My husband and I are content creators and when we stay anywhere, we like to document our stay. We had our camera and were recording outside where there are 4 cameras, as noted by the host, and talked about how excited we are to get in the hot tub. The only negative things we said were inside. The host texted my husband and said that if we were displeased with the property, to leave. It leads me to believe she was listening INSIDE and we felt threatened and left. In her second message she mentioned she knows who we are. I have never felt so uncomfortable, creeped out, and violated. We were supposed to stay 3 nights and stayed just 1. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone.

• Perfect long weekend spot

  Near to the beach, DC, and Annapolis, within a quaint and warm town, this is a hidden gem perfect for a romantic getaway or long weekend with friends/family.

• Nice cozy house with everything you need for a relaxing fun time.

  In a wooded area with lots of trees and shade. House nicely decorated and had everything you need for cooking, including spices. within 2 miles of town of Chesapeake Beach.

  Only negative comment is they need to upgrade the mattresses.
