  We were in Worcester for a semi-formal event, a convocation. The place was nice, the back looking out on the lake, with a comfortable bed. But I was surprised not to find a single hanger or place to hang my dress for occasion. There was a small iron but no apparent ironing board. Every room had closed off closets or cupboards for the owners, and that seemed a bit inconvenient for the renters. My mother-in-law was planning on coming and spending one night with us, but she had to cancel for health reasons. I was glad in some way because getting up the steep steps to the upstairs would have been difficult for her. They certainlly were not built to code! It would have been nice to know that in advance, as it would have affected our decision on where to stay.

  You are correct that two closets are reserved for inventory/owner supplies, along with one cabinet and one attic space, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
  
  Regarding accessibility, we never intend to mislead our guests. We’ve included details about the stairway access and the home’s layout (with bedrooms on the second floor) to help set clear expectations, though we completely understand how important accessibility is when choosing a home. This property may not be the best fit for those needing additional accessibility accommodations, but if you return to Worcester without that requirement, we’d be thrilled to host you again.

  My wife and I spent three nights at this cottage in Worcester overlooking a section of Indian Lake. Cormorants hang out on a dead tree just offshore. The unit was clean and well decorated and everything worked fine. There is one off-street spot, otherwise there is not a lot of on-street parking. They have one kayak but we did not take advantage. There is a second rental unit in the lower level walkout basement that was unoccupied during our stay.

  Lovely home in a unique location. Close to all of downtown Worcester, with a backyard that provides a peaceful escape. I sat on the deck, enjoying the many birds perched along the lakeshore, including two bald eagles!
