‘Bayview Getaway’ is located on a quiet dead-end street and is within an easy 5-minute walk to Bayview Beach, a warm and gentle beach on the Nantucket Sound. Grab the provided beach towels, beach chairs, and umbrella, and get ready to spend a fantastic day by the shore! You can swim, play in the sand, and enjoy the view of Lewis Bay and many boats that enter Hyannis Inner Harbor.
While the home is situated in a secluded and serene setting, away from the hustle and bustle of the town, it's within walking distance to the spirited Main Street in Hyannis - home to the Kennedy Museum, numerous restaurants, ice cream parlors, bookshops, boutiques, a carousel, and family amusement centers.
Enjoy the Thursday night parade or listen to live music in one of the pubs. Take a ferry to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket, catch a whale-watching cruise out of Barnstable Harbor, go on a deep sea fishing expedition from Hyannis, take a drive along Old King's Highway and do a little antiquing, practice your swing at any of the nearby golf courses or just enjoy the sea breeze in the backyard!

Great location for exploring the Cape
4/5 This was our first trip to Cape Cod, and we travelled with our small dog. The house was spotlessly clean, you couldn’t tell at any point any other dog had stayed there. The location was fantastic for exploring towns all along the Cape, we really thought you were halfway on the Cape - so easy driving everywhere. Walked to Hyannis for the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard. The home is well stocked in the kitchen for things to create meals, spices, etc. There were only two of us… I can’t imagine bringing top many more people there as I didn’t find the living room furniture very comfortable to relax with a larger group. It is a basic accommodation. I think if you’re out at the beach all day, it works really well. I found for the time of year we went when sometimes the weather was a little dicey… It wasn’t the most comfortable home to relax in. For the price… I just expected a little more. It could benefit from comfortable outdoor furniture, not just a dining table or hammock, it could benefit from some outdoor games so if you’re not out exploring, you could play beanbag toss or something. The home does not have any Cape cod charm. If you are looking for clean, basic accommodations in a fantastic location… This is your place. I wouldn’t recommend staying more than six people as the living room furniture can only accommodate five people.
The host provides great information and as I said, I was very impressed with the cleaning in this home.
Great house and location
5/5 This house comes as advertised. 3 big bedrooms, a well stocked kitchen, cold AC and a nice yard. The walking trails behind the house were perfect for the dog. You are a 5-10 minute drive from downtown Hyannis. The kitchen/living room area is a little tight for 8 people but I would definitely stay here again.

Cape vacation
5/5 Great location for walking to Hyannis hy-line ferry to visit the islands. Also, walking distance to Tugboats restaurant. The house was very homey, makes you feel like you’re visiting with family. Easy drive from downtown library parking area if you’re planning on walking around downtown Hyannis.

Great location
4/5 We took ferries to both Nantucket and MV and the location was great. Also close to town. Very quaint and had a warm feeling.
