We’re sorry to hear that parts of your stay didn’t meet expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reviewing your comments, and they wanted to share the following:
- We’ve put significant care into renovating this older building to meet today’s standards, including updated plumbing, electrical, flooring, insulation, and safety features, all completed to local code. While the back stairs are steep, they have railings on both sides, and there’s also a shorter staircase at the front for easier access.
- All mattress pads are washed regularly, and the home was inspected after your stay. No issues were found with the pads, cooktop, or signs of pests, but we’ll continue monitoring and addressing any concerns promptly.
- We’re aware of some minor peeling paint in the bathroom and one other room, and updates are already underway to refresh those areas.
- Kitchen towels and a clean scrubber are typically provided for each stay, and we’ve reminded our cleaning team to double-check these items before each arrival.

Springfield, MA Visit
5/5 Property was exactly as described. The home had all modern appliances. It was clean and well kept. I sent a message to the owner prior to checking in and received a prompt response. If I’m in the area again I will definitely check on the availability of this property.
