Beautiful place. Impeccably clean. Wonderful neighbors. Serene setting. Close to everything. Great communication. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

  • Magical little place near a lot of activities

    5/5

I just had my second booking at this beautiful little cabin. It seems remote at first but then I realized that I could be in downtown Greenfield in 20 minutes. I spent each morning eating breakfast on the screened-in porch watching everything from eastern bluebirds to wild turkeys visit the feeders. The yard is beautifully landscaped and sits at the edge of the woods so every night I came back the place was surrounded by fireflies as far as the eye could see. Parking is easy. The place is very clean and has a retro/mid-century modern vibe. The kitchen has everything you need. Check-in and check-out was super easy.

    Manager's Response:

From the owner: "Amy, we are thrilled you chose to stay with us again this year.
Thank you for treating our home with such care, we are so glad you love it as much as we do. The firefly’s were so lovely this summer. Hope to see you again!"

After a very long winter full of grey days the homestead farm house was a perfect get away. The asparagus trail pottery tour was a great reason to get together with dear friends and share our love for pottery. Peg and Grey were so thoughtful to make our stay cozy in their charming farm house. Peg our dearest friend mapped out a great adventure full of giggles. ❤

I had a week of meetings that I was attending in the area and needed a place that "I could call home" for the week so that I could relax at the end of the day and make my own meals. It was exactly what I wanted: clean, comfortable, well equipped and quiet. Graham checked in to make sure all was good and provided all of the information I needed to enjoy my stay. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

  • Charming, thoughtful retreat

    5/5

This attached cottage met and exceeded our expectations for a long weekend away. The small original farmhouse has been charmingly restored and decorated. There are so many thoughtful touches--plenty of towels, beach towels, extra linens, blankets, pillows, fans, first aid kit, info, utility drawer, and on and on. The gardens are gorgeous, and led o a nice hike to the Hobo Trail waterfall. We loved the porch and grilling our dinners. Lots to explore nearby. Good value. One caveat for some: the bathroom (as in many houses of this vintage) is on the first floor, and the 2 bedrooms are under the eaves on the 2nd floors up a narrow stairway. But no hesitation giving it 5 stars!
